Stable flies are arguably the worst flying pests to have around your home and animals. They feed on blood and will attack most mammals, including horses, sheep, cattle, goats, swine, dogs, cats and even people. They are relentless in their search for their next meal, inflicting painful bites on ears, legs and flanks. This persistent leg-biting will cause an animal to stomp, shake and twitch. This type of behavior can be detrimental to an animal’s health, leading to poor weight gain and other issues. All in all, animals are just miserable when plagued by stable flies. It’s the Bite Free Stable Fly Trap’s design that makes this trap so effective.
As sun shines through the translucent surface, its shimmer draws in the stable flies. They then become stuck in its strong adhesive. Simply dispose of the trap when it becomes full. Uniquely shaped Bite Free Stable Fly Trap provides an ecomonical solution to those persistent and potentially harmful Stable Flies. Stable Flies bite humans and livestock on the legs, and dogs and cats on the ears. Bite Free Stable Fly Trap provides relief from these pests in an easy to set up, insecticide and odor free, disposable trap.
Insecticide-free flytrap offers relief to your livestock of nuisance stable flies. Innovative design features a shimmering, translucent surface when sunlight shines through. Offers a large area of super sticky adhesive in a compact design to capture flies. Safe and non-toxic for use around your dairy operation, feedlot, swine facility, stable, poultry farm, kennel, home and garden.
Remove trap from box by the black end caps. Do not touch the clean midsection; it’s covered in sticky adhesive. Place trap in direct sunlight, preferably at least 10 feet away from structures. Hang trap by top handle or mount on stake or pole. For best results, set trap up to 4-feet off the ground, in the biting fly zone. Hang in highly visible, sunlit area where stable flies can easily see the trap. Keep trap clear of grass and other vegetation. Place trap outside livestock pens, feeding areas and paddocks where animals and children won’t disturb them. In large open areas, space the trap every 50 to 100 feet apart.
