The original version of this popular broad spectrum milk antibiotic test. Results are available in 2-1/2 hours. For NCIMS use. A simple reliable and economical test for antibiotic residues in milk. Delvotest detects a broad spectrum of antibiotics-not limited to the penicillin family. Designed for use on the farm or in a laboratory, this standard diffusion test has high sensitivity to most veterinary antibiotics. Results are indicated by color. Self-contained, except for the required block heater, each kit contains individual plastic ampules containing Bacillus stearothermophilus in a solid medium, nutrient tablets(not required for SP-NT), dosing syringe, disposable pipets, tweezers, and instructions. Standard diffusion test. Uses a sample of milk a nutrient pill a plastic ampule and a block heater (sold separately) to provide a dry heat environment for the incubation of the ampules.Results (yellow indicating negative and purple indicating positive) can be read in approximately 2½ hrs.
