Designed not to snag, pull out or break off. Exclusive self-piercing design features a unique surgical cutting tip, made of plastic, to increase healing rate and minimize the risk of infection. Z-Tag visual tags are unique, highly flexible, one-piece design won’t break, pull out or even snag. The applicator features a pivoting pin that makes loading tags easier and prevents torn ears. Instructions for Use: Restrain cattle in chute. For larger cattle, you may want to use a halter, nose lead or rope to help restrain and keep their heads from moving. Disinfect the ear on the area of application. Using the Z-Tag Applicator, place the ear in the tagging system. The tag should be placed in the middle third of the ear. Avoid major ear veins while applying the ear tag. Disinfect the tagger between each use.
