Spirovac L5 – 100 mL (50 Doses)

For beef cattle producers, SPIROVAC L5 offers an inactivated vaccine option to help prevent disease caused by Leptospira (L. canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. icterohaemorrhagiae and L. pomona.) including L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo type hardjo-bovis. It is also recommended to prevent the colonization of L. hardjo in the kidney, and thus shedding in the urine, for at least 12 months. Recommendation: Revaccinate annually with a single dose, and include all bulls in program vaccination.

Indications

SPIROVAC L5 is for vaccination of healthy cattle, including pregnant cows and heifers, over 4 weeks of age, as an aid in preventing disease caused by the above organisms. In addition, it is especially recommended to prevent establishment of L. hardjo in the kidney, and thus shedding in the urine, for at least 12 months; also prevents the establishment of L. hardjo in the genital tract and aids in preventing infection of the fetus.
